One re- conditioned Lakso Model 52 Cottoner. As per Lakso, machine is variable from 40-100 cycles per minute and lengths of material between 2.5" to 7". Model 52 cottoner cuts pre-determined lengths of pharmaceutical cotton, rayon or polyester coil and forms it into an inverted "U" shaped wad and inserts it into the bottles. Machine has adjustable height stand on wheels and has pneumatic indexing. The machine has been refurbished with the following new parts: New front hood, hinges, knives, knife bearings, slide bearings, hardened slide cam followers, bushings and bearings, nuts, bolts and hardware, gripper rollers, cotton fingers, side door switches, adapter plate, DC motor, belt, regulator, drive chain, electrical box, bottle sensor, grease fittings and shaft bushings. Cottoner has been completely disassembled, sandblasted and painted with Steel-It paint.
